Alana photographed my (now) husband and I's wedding - it was a nerdy affair and Alana did not disappoint! She was able to highlight every angle of our special day including an epic wizard battle between the bridal party sides.
She has a natural eye for this stuff, for finding beauty and intrigue in everyday places - that, combined with her easy going demeanor (which makes the photo taking experience quite enjoyable), her ability to snap true candid moments amongst the utter chaos that comes with any wedding setting and her genuine love for this medium truly sets her apart. I was missing home terribly and had asked Alana if she could find somewhere around here that was like Ontario in the fall. AND SHE DID! The photo shoot was relaxing and natural. She captured us in our own element, a way that was like a family enjoying a day at the park. It was beautiful! We required a tight turn around and a big package including hard covered & soft covered books and boxed pictures. From start to finish it was a fabulous experience. Alana was the best wedding photographer we could ask for! She met with us in advance to figure out what 'style' of photos we liked and if there were any 'must-have' shots. She was with us ALL day (getting ready, ceremony, ceremony-site photos, reception-site photos, family photos, and throughout reception). She even took a paddleboat out on the lake so she could get close-up photos of us canoeing. The photos turned out AMAZING! She made me look like a model--the photos could easily be used in a magazine!!! Highly recommended.
